Our Mission is to provide recreational activities for the young people of Castalia and surrounding communities.  We are always looking for new input and help developing and maintaining current and future activities to the young people of our community.   Become part of the team to help make our community a better place.You only need to bring your ideas and a little energy to make a big difference in our community!  The Castalia Recreation Department meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 8pm from May to September and at 7pm from October to April**. We meet at the Margaretta Township Hall located at 114 Main St. Castalia, Ohio 44824**. Almost all of our Castalia recreation activities and extra-curriculars are held at Lions Park at 305 South Washington Street Castalia, Ohio. Lions Park facilities consist of 7 baseball/softball fields, a park for your children to play at, a covered picnic table area with a concession stand and restrooms, along with a newly expanded parking lot for plenty of room for parking.
